These notes name selected records, say which kinds of public evidence were checked and show what remains missing. They do not add anything to the published counts.

• Economic development incentives — Partly checked
  • No Michigan Department of Treasury or Michigan Economic Development Corporation source was opened; the only attempted path could not be retrieved.
  • No list of certified Michigan enterprise data centres was obtained, so the state's incentive recipients are entirely absent from the current research record.
  • Whether the Saline Township PA 198 industrial development district was ever established was not checked.

  • The MPSC case system is a JavaScript application and its filing index was not enumerated; only the single filing linked by the township was retrieved.
  • Case U-21990, DTE 2025 Data Center Special Contracts, was identified but not yet reviewed directly.
  • No Consumers Energy or Michigan municipal utility large-load filing was searched, so no utility-request figure exists for any Michigan research lead outside Van Buren Township.

  • No county assessor or GIS parcel portal was queried in Michigan, so the only parcel identifier in the current research record is the single PA 116 parcel quoted in the Saline consent judgment.
  • No other Michigan municipality or township was visited; Lyon, Augusta, Frenchtown, Vevay, Dorr, Lowell and Gaines townships and the cities of Southfield, Lansing, Flint, Gibraltar, Dowagiac, Marshall and Ypsilanti were not reached.

  • No Michigan municipal denial, withdrawal or rescission file was retrieved directly; three of the four reversals rest on the dataset alone.
  • The Deep Green Lansing status is contested between the dataset's two cited sources and no city record was obtained to settle it.
  • No closed or demolished Michigan data centre was searched for, and no rename or acquisition history was traced beyond the Hyperscale Data conversion and the former McLouth Steel site name.
