The register is a list of the sites DataCenterData has admitted, not a census of every U.S. data center.

The register connects admitted source rows to records for campuses, buildings, suites and other site units. Unresolved provider presences remain separately labelled. 2,571 records have a page here; 79 records are represented by an existing reviewed project page and link there. The total counts register records, not unique physical sites: a campus and its buildings may each have a record, and an unresolved leased presence does not establish a separate site. How complete the register is.
