OPSB approved (2025-09-22) a 72.9 MW behind-the-meter solid oxide fuel cell facility (228 Bloom Energy units) at 4186 Scioto Darby Creek Rd, owned and operated by Ohio Power Company and serving Amazon only. Construction from Jan 2026, operation projected Sept 2027; intended as a bridge until AEP transmission capacity is available.

Franklin County Auditor assessed building area is populated (695,120 sq ft) on the campus parcel (050-002806, land-use class 'data center', Amazon Data Services Inc) = built, not a bare shell; data-center directories (DC Byte / datacenterHawk) list the campus's early buildings as operational with later phases still under construction. Expansion continues.
