Energy. CEC Small Power Plant Exemption 19-SPPE-01 (Laurelwood Data Center, applicant MECP1 Santa Clara 1, LLC): 56 standby diesel-fired generators rated 3.0 MW each and an on-site 60 kV substation, for a maximum electrical load of 99 MW.
Water. Operator describes "generator-backed air cooling and adiabatic dry coolers" with support for direct-to-chip liquid-cooled servers, and states a WUE below 0.01. Classified hybrid because adiabatic dry coolers alternate between dry and evaporatively-assisted operation.

Two data center buildings totalling over 540,000 sq ft. The CEQA filing gives the site as 13 acres between Juliette Lane and Laurelwood Road; the operator's page says 12 acres — recorded neither as landAcres because the two sourced figures disagree.
