The provider labels 200 MW operational capacity, while its own energy note identifies 200 MW as substation capacity, not IT load. The mixed capacity object is withheld. The separately stated planned campus and phase figures remain in the cited source review. The upstream row remains attributed below, but this value is not repeated as site capacity.
The underlying provider record is retained. These notes add source-attributed context and flag conflicts; any withheld value is explained separately. They do not certify current operation.
- Source review · reviewed 2026-10-11: Prior source review (2026-10-09): Novva’s March 5, 2025 release states 175 MW of planned campus capacity at completion. Phase 2 and Phase 3 each have a planned 318,000-square-foot building and 72 MW of critical IT load. The release says construction began in December 2023 and January 2024 respectively, and Phase 1 began operating in 2023. It does not establish completion of the later phases. The provider’s 200 MW operational figure is substation capacity in its own energy note, not operating IT capacity; the public structured capacity is withheld. Historical document addendum reviewed 2026-10-11: Utah DAQ's December 19, 2024 Approval Order DAQE-AN160660003-24 identifies Novva SLC Common, LLC as the permittee at 6524 West Old Bingham Highway, West Jordan, Salt Lake County. It supersedes the February 23, 2022 order and describes the existing data center at its stated date. The approved equipment includes 72 natural-gas engines for primary generation for two new buildings and 37 diesel emergency engines, plus eleven 8,000-gallon diesel tanks. The engine counts and ratings are not summed or treated as IT load or utility capacity. The order reclassifies the source as a major CO and HAP source subject to Title V; it does not establish building permits, completion of the new buildings or current permit status after December 2024. West Jordan's March 19, 2025 account describes direct-to-chip cooling and a future one-million-square-foot campus; that description is source-attributed and does not establish an area measure or completion.

Provider notes
Energy. Novva's own facility page describes a centralized 200MW on-campus substation with N+1 redundancy serving the four-phase campus, plus a planned 15MW-30MW of on-site solar. The 175MW figure is the campus's stated total data center capacity at four-phase completion; the 200MW is substation capacity, not IT load.
Water. Novva states the campus uses waterless air-cooled chillers with no evaporative water loss, citing a 1.18 annualized PUE and roughly 394,667 gallons per month (about 4.7 million gallons annually) of total site water use, which it compares to the consumption of 26 homes. Vendor-stated figures, not independently metered.
These reviews flag conflicting scope, inconsistent source text or support that has not been established. A withheld value may appear in the explanation, but is not displayed as an established field. The upstream row remains attributed under Sources.
- Power source: On-site gas is described for planned equipment/buildings, while current row energy context identifies an on-campus substation; categorical facility-wide source is not supported.
- On-site generation: 200 MW is expressly described as substation capacity, not on-site generation.
What the source record says
Subsidies checked at the municipal tier (2026-09-04): no site-level subsidy, for a structural reason rather than a search miss. West Jordan's Redevelopment Agency lists six active project areas, all bounded well east of this campus; under Title 17C an agency may only act within a designated project area, so no participation agreement is available at this location under the current project-area map. The city's own 2025 post on the expansion discusses tax value in generic terms and names no incentive or agreement.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.

These sources are listed for the whole row. Unless a figure links to its own source, the provider does not mark which one gave it, so a figure may not appear in every source.
