Provider notes

Energy. Served under Black Hills Energy Large Power Contract Service tariff with customized renewable procurement. Meta and Black Hills Energy partnered to add new renewable resources to the Wyoming grid. Note: Meta signed a separate January 2026 portfolio-wide PPA with TerraPower for up to 8 remote Natrium reactors (power delivery via grid, not at the Cheyenne site); no on-site nuclear generation planned at this location per cited sources.

Community. Meta announced Data Center Community Action Grants for Cheyenne schools and nonprofits in 2026. Wyoming tax incentives for data center operators cited as a deciding factor in site selection.

What the source record says

715,000 sq ft campus at High Plains Business Park, Meta's 25th global data center. Originally Project Cosmo. Optimized for AI workloads with new H-departed design. Expected operational 2027. Coordinates approximate for High Plains Business Park in SE Cheyenne. Energy.notes corrected: removed on-site nuclear claim (Meta-TerraPower PPA is portfolio-wide grid delivery, not an on-site Cheyenne plant) and removed unverified $1.2B solar claim. jobs.sourceIndex corrected from 0 to 1 (Cheyenne LEADS is the source for the 1,000 construction jobs figure).

Capacity is not ranked or totaled here.

Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
