- Source review · reviewed 2026-10-09: Vantage prints 1121 USA Parkway, Sparks, NV 89437 for its NV1 campus and places it in Storey County. Nevada DEP’s August 20, 2025 preliminary permit review independently names the Vantage NV1 facility in McCarran, Storey County. Water. Closed-loop chiller system minimizing water use; campus targets industry-leading low Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE); LEED certification planned
Community. Storey County Manager Austin Osborne is quoted welcoming Vantage to the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, consistent with the county's general industrial-friendly posture toward data centers (see also tract-virginia-highlands-storey-county-nv). Vantage also cites an EDAWN workforce-development partnership. No opposition documented. Checked: operator press release only.
These reviews flag conflicting scope, inconsistent source text or support that has not been established. A withheld value may appear in the explanation, but is not displayed as an established field. The upstream row remains attributed under Sources.
- Announced permanent jobs: Row notes state 1,200+ combined construction-and-operations employment and explicitly say no permanent/construction breakdown is disclosed.
What the source record says
Located in Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC), Storey County, NV — same industrial park as Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Switch (CITADEL tracked separately). Four multi-story buildings, 1M+ sq ft. Designed for AI densities 360W–720W per sq ft. Vantage's eighth North American market. Coordinates are approximate TRIC centroid. Primary press release states more than 1,200 individuals employed 'across the construction and ongoing operations' — combined construction + permanent total; construction vs. permanent breakdown not separately disclosed.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
