Map sources and method

The state outline is adapted from the U.S. Census Bureau 2025 cartographic boundary file. Facility coordinates are adapted from Compute Atlas by Edward Kubiak, edition 1.33.0, under CC BY 4.0. Outline and markers use one geographic projection before any explicitly disclosed readability offset. Exact singleton source anchors are never moved. A one-kilometre boundary tolerance prevents the simplified 1:20,000,000 outline from hiding legitimate border-area source points; farther conflicts are disclosed, not clamped. DataCenterData groups source-reported city coordinates only within a bounded map radius; the outline does not validate a facility record.

    • The office's full incentive award list was not enumerated, so other Utah data center awards were not found.
    • Utah's sales and use tax treatment of data center equipment and any certification list were not researched.
    • EDCUtah project records were not searched.

    • No filing inside Docket 26-035-05 was opened, so the customer, the load and the site are unknown.
    • Docket 25-R318-01 on large-scale electric service requirements and PacifiCorp's integrated resource plan load forecasts were not read.
    • Municipal utilities (for example Provo and Murray) were not checked.

    • The Division of Air Quality permitting site was reached only through individual document links found in search results; no systematic keyword search of the permit database was run, so other data center permit actions were not enumerated.
    • The federal environmental assessment for the NSA Utah Data Center campus expansion could not be retrieved during review.
    • Water rights, drinking water, water quality discharge and county building permits were not searched.

    • No city council or county commission minutes, agenda or resolution was opened anywhere in Utah.
