Provider notes

Energy. 76.6 MW is CEC SPPE-disclosed backup-generator capacity (docket 23-SPPE-01, 28 generators), not IT/critical load.

Community. Approved via a zoning classification (Hayward Municipal Code Section 10-1.1604) that treated data centers as "office use," letting the project bypass City Council-level review and go through Planning Commission alone. Council members publicly raised concerns about the project's power and water draw; the developer added a $2M Public Benefits Package (up from an initial $1.3M offer) during the approval process. …

What the source record says

STACK's first tracked East Bay CA site (existing STACK entries stack-svy01-ca/San Jose and stack-svy02-ca/Santa Clara are both South Bay). 300,000 sq ft campus at Production Ave/Investment Blvd: 3-story primary data center building + 1-story secondary building, height 100ft (+8ft variance approved); site plan also shows frontage on Eden Landing Road, treated as the same 11.3-acre parcel, not a separate site. energy.onSiteGenerationMw reflects the CEC SPPE-disclosed backup-generator capacity (28 generators across two yards, docket 23-SPPE-01) - this is NOT a disclosed IT/critical-load figure; no whole-facility IT MW is publicly disclosed anywhere. The 76.6 MW figure supersedes the original CEQA filing's 67.2 MW. Jobs figures (41 permanent, ~380 construction) are single-sourced to local press (Tri City Voice; Hayward Herald ran the same underlying story). Coordinates are a geocoded street-address point, not parcel-confirmed.

Capacity is not ranked or totaled here.

Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.

State or local registry record

What a state or local government record says at this same street address. The record is cited, not republished. It does not establish that a data center is operating, its capacity, or its owner or operator unless the record says that role. It is not added to the counts on this page.

Same street address. The government record cites the same street as this record.

STACK Infrastructure The record does not call this company the operator.

Factual fields cited to the named government page. DataCenterData does not republish the page or the underlying database. A permit, certification, tax status, or application does not by itself establish an operating data center.

What this record does not establish

  • That a permit, certification, tax status, or application means an operating data center.
  • Current IT capacity, utility load, or generation capacity.
  • Who operates the site. A company named in the record is not the operator unless the record says so.
  • Cooling redundancy. Mentioned equipment is not a design rating.
  • Whether the record covers one building, a campus, or a suite, beyond the unit label the record itself uses.
No reviewed record is linked to this row yet.

That does not mean the row is wrong, and it does not mean no reviewed record exists for the same place. A link is added only when an identifier or source establishes the match.
