Provider notes
Energy. Built by Yahoo on a New York Power Authority low-cost hydropower allocation of 15 MW at the outset of construction, with an additional 1 MW approved by NYPA in April 2011 for the second phase.
Water. Yahoo's famous "Chicken Coop" design: chillerless, cooled by outside air ~99% of the year with direct evaporative cooling as backup in summer heat, achieving a PUE of 1.08. Not independently reconfirmed as unchanged since the 2025 H5 acquisition.
These reviews flag conflicting scope, inconsistent source text or support that has not been established. A withheld value may appear in the explanation, but is not displayed as an established field. The upstream row remains attributed under Sources.
- Land area: The source note says the acreage is shared with a separate building listed on its own, not land specific to this building.
What the source record says
5319 Enterprise Dr, Lockport, NY. Built by Yahoo in 2010 (opened at 155,000 sq ft, expanded since); campus totals 409,200 sq ft / 43 acres SHARED with the separate H5 Buffalo II building (~0.25 mi away — see that record). H5 Data Centers acquired both Lockport buildings from Yahoo in a sale-leaseback deal that closed Dec 30, 2024 ($49M reported); Yahoo signed a 5-year leaseback and remains a tenant on-site (140 staff retained, 15 transferred to H5). Now multi-tenant Tier III colocation, though no tenants beyond Yahoo are independently confirmed. Critical power was 16 MW as of 2014; current total post-expansion not independently disclosed, so capacityMw is deliberately omitted rather than guessed. Coordinates are a campus-level geocode (ConnectBase), not a per-building parcel pin.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.

That does not mean the row is wrong, and it does not mean no reviewed record exists for the same place. A link is added only when an identifier or source establishes the match.
