Community. Residents organized against the rezoning. A change.org petition, "Halt Proposed Land Use Change from Agriculture to Industrial in Bartow County", co-founded by Josh Cauthen, had 1,280 signatures by 2025-03-11 and 1,723 by 2025-03-21, and was reported at over 2,000 by the 2025-04-28 hearing. What the source record says
Six buildings totaling 2,274,000 sq ft (about 379,000 sq ft each), per DRI #4403, which states the project "will utilize closed loop technology to reduce water and sewer demand." The DRI states a build-out value of $4,500,000,000 and completion in December 2031, and leaves the electrical-load and energy-provider fields blank. The 432 MW figure (six buildings of up to 78 MW each) is from press reporting on the site plan, not the DRI. Property owners per the DRI: The Darryl William Edwards Living Revocable Trust, King Curtis LLC and Riverside NVR LLC. Acreage: the county's minutes and the Daily Tribune give 630 acres for the rezoning request (to Business Park District); earlier press gave 588. Coordinates are the point stated in the DRI filing, not a surveyed site centroid. No named end-user operator was attached to the project. Distinct from Atlas Development's later Stiles Road application off Euharlee Road (withdrawn December 2025).
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
