Eagan City Council voted 4-0 on a one-year moratorium (applies to data centers >20MW or within 500 ft of residential property) after this project broke ground; neighbors near this Oppidan facility off Argenta Trail raised traffic and noise concerns per KSTP (retrieved 2026-09-10). Coverage frames the moratorium as forward-looking study rather than opposition aimed at this already-underway project.

Described by Oppidan as one of only two ground-up data center projects underway in Minnesota at time of announcement. 61,000 sq ft on 22.1 acres of YMCA-owned land (subdivided early 1990s), off Argenta Trail south of the YMCA; developer entity CLOP Eagan MN, LLC. Construction began June 2025; full operation expected December 2026.
