Scope

Prince George's County Council Resolution CR-098-2025, adopted 16 September 2025, adopted a temporary pause on processing, review and approval of preliminary plans of subdivision that include qualified data centers among their proposed uses, for a period of six months, while the County considered zoning and building requirements for data center development. A later adopted resolution (CR-066-2026) records that this pause expired on 16 March 2026.
