Energy. Sited beside Talen's Montour plant. DEP published notice in the August 22, 2026 PA Bulletin of an air-quality plan approval application to add two 655 MW turbine generation units at Montour 'to feed A.I. data centers'; comments were due September 21, 2026.

Talen is seeking to rezone approximately 1,000 acres in northern Montour County from agricultural to industrial; the company anticipates about a dozen buildings, each on two to three acres.
