Provider notes
Energy. Sagebrush is described as a developer of hyperscale data centers with co-located natural gas-fired power plants. Reporting says the developer wants natural gas, water, and a grid interconnection as a redundant source: "They're going to provide their own power, but they also want to hook up to the grid in case their power goes down." The optioned land sits near NPPD's Sheldon Station and its Princeton Road Station site.
Water. The campus requires water access; 1011 NOW reports Hallam's water supply as one of the site's attractions for the developer. No withdrawal or consumption figure has been published.
Community. Thirteen landowners signed purchase options between December 2025 and mid-March 2026; a farmer who declined said the project "caused a bunch of division in the community among neighbors" and objected to turning Hallam from "a small, sleepy farming community" into "an industrial center." Lancaster County commissioners were separately weighing a 12-month data-center moratorium in August 2026. Stark's VP of digital infrastructure said "no final decision has been made at this time."
What the source record says
Land assemblage only — memorandums of purchase agreement with 13 landowners along Southwest 58th Street just west of Hallam, giving exclusivity windows of roughly six months to four years. Sagebrush Infrastructure Partners LLC was acquired by Tel Aviv-based Stark Power in June 2026 as part of a reported 5.6 GW US development pipeline; the Hallam site is one of five planned hyperscale campuses targeting MISO and SPP territory. Coordinates are an approximation of the reported SW 58th Street assemblage west of Hallam; no parcel map has been published. Distinct from the separate 35 MW Monolith/Crusoe proposal inside the Village of Hallam's zoning jurisdiction.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
