Community. More than 500 opponents attended the July 2026 hearing, which was relocated to a church gym to fit the crowd; the plan commission recommended denial 7-2. Bristol Town Council President Jeff Beachy initially wrote in support, then publicly reversed to opposition on 2026-07-21 after accusations and threats.
