200 MW is expressly gross power; retain the pre-existing planned value but withhold this new operational subvalue. The upstream row remains attributed below, but this value is not repeated as site capacity.
The underlying provider record is retained. These notes add source-attributed context and flag conflicts; any withheld value is explained separately. They do not certify current operation.
- status: Phase I is described as operational, while later campus phases remain under construction.

Provider notes
Energy. ERCOT approved 1.63 GW total; potential to scale to 3.6 GW. $1.4B project financing closed for expansion. Phase I (133MW critical IT load) completed July 2026.
Water. Phase 1 (133 MW) is a liquid-cooled AI deployment with 90+ chillers and associated piping (Clayco). Chiller condenser type (air-cooled vs. water-cooled/evaporative) and water-consumption (MGD) not published. Site overlies the Ogallala Aquifer on the southern High Plains — a material water-risk context flag.
Community. Galaxy Digital is the largest employer and taxpayer in Dickens County (pop. <2,000). County official on the CoreWeave lease: "It's the news we've been waiting to hear — news that will bring jobs and dollars to Dickens County's doorstep." No opposition or litigation found. Investment/jobs: Phase 1 financed by a $1.4B debt facility + $350M Galaxy equity; Phase 2 permits estimate $3.5B (Helios 2 ~$900M, Helios 3 & 4 ~$1.3B each). Helios expects "more than 100 permanent jobs" plus "50 or more" from CoreWeave — floors, not hard counts.
What the source record says
Built by Argo Blockchain as a ~180 MW Bitcoin-mining facility in 2022; sold to Galaxy Digital in Dec 2022 amid the crypto-market downturn. Galaxy converted the site to AI/HPC hosting for CoreWeave under a 15-year lease signed March 28, 2025. CoreWeave is the anchor tenant using the campus for large-scale AI model training. Phase I (133 MW critical IT load / 200 MW gross) is complete and operational; further phases toward the 1.63 GW approved total remain under construction. Location is near Afton, Dickens County (West Texas). Original site was 160 acres; campus has since expanded to 2,200+ acres across multiple phases. Coordinates are approximate.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
Status history supplied by the source

Phase I complete: 133MW critical IT load (200MW gross power) delivered to CoreWeave under 15-year leases (two 5-year extension options); rent commencement Q2 2026. Phase II (260MW critical IT load) in development, deliveries expected H1 2027. CoreWeave's total commitment across all phases now 526MW critical IT load. Total approved campus capacity 1.63GW, potential to scale to 3.6GW. Campus now spans 2,200+ acres (expanded from the original 160-acre site).
