Provider notes

Energy. Proposal includes donating 5 acres to BGE for a new electrical substation; grid connection infrastructure is still required.

Community. Residents raised concerns about water use, home values and utility bills at a December 2025 neighborhood meeting. Baltimore County enacted a one-year data center permit moratorium in January 2026 and Bill 3-26 requires public hearings and disclosure of cooling technology.

What the source record says

Redevelopment of the 42-acre former Social Security Administration headquarters campus in Woodlawn, plus an adjacent Rodeway Inn parcel. Construction had been targeted for June/July 2026 before Baltimore County's permit moratorium. Re-checked 2026-09-10: status confirmed PROPOSED, no change -- consistent with 'no development plan submitted as of mid-2026' already in the record. Baltimore County's yearlong data-center permit moratorium (in effect since mid-2026) is set to end January 2027, which is why the June/July 2026 construction target slipped. No new investmentUsd, water, aiClassification, or subsidies figures found this run.

Capacity is not ranked or totaled here.
