Provider notes
Community. Residents raised concerns about public notice, noise and proximity to homes and youth sports fields (July 2026). The city cites about $400,000/yr in electric-utility gross margin. In August 2026 the council confirmed the project is exempt from environmental review and took no further action.
What the source record says
The city specified AI only, with no bitcoin or cryptocurrency mining. It sits next to Milk Specialties and Balzer in the industrial district. In July 2026 the city said construction would likely start in September. That start is not confirmed, so status stays permitted.
Any MW value is reproduced as source-reported context. Its measurement boundary is not established consistently enough for comparison. Unknown is not zero.
